Who We Are

Trusted eyes on your vessel, anywhere in the world.

MaxMarine & Transport Inc is a marine surveying and consultancy practice serving shipowners, managers, charterers, P&I clubs, underwriters and cargo interests. We attend all vessel types — tankers, dry cargo and bulk, containers, RO-RO, passenger, specialised cargo and offshore support units.

Our work exists to create a relationship of trust: efficient, reliable and honest surveys, opinions and solutions. Integrity and reputation mean more to us than simply business — which is why our findings are reported exactly as we find them, to whoever has instructed us.

  • Led by a serving Master Mariner

Command-level seagoing experience informs every inspection and every opinion we sign.

  • Independent & conflict-free

We are instructed directly and hold no interest in the outcome of the survey.

  • Reports you can act on

Clear, photographic, defensible documentation — issued promptly after attendance.

Company Policies

The commitments behind every report.

Documented, reviewed and applied to every assignment we accept — ashore, alongside and at sea.

01

Quality Policy

We deliver services that meet the agreed scope, statutory requirements and client expectations — first time, every time. Findings are recorded factually and never adjusted to suit an instructing party.

02

Health & Safety Policy

No survey is worth an injury. Our surveyors are trained, equipped and empowered to stop work whenever an unsafe condition is identified on board or ashore.

03

Environmental Protection

We work to minimise the environmental impact of our operations and actively advise clients on pollution prevention, MARPOL compliance and oil-loss control.

04

Occupational Health

Fitness for duty, fatigue management and welfare are treated as operational controls — for our own team and as a focus of the audits we conduct for clients.

05

Ethics & Anti-Bribery

Facilitation payments are refused without exception. Conflicts of interest are declared before instruction is accepted, and confidentiality is absolute.

06

Response & Availability

Casualty and emergency instructions are acknowledged within the hour, 24 hours a day, with a surveyor mobilised to the vessel at the earliest safe opportunity.
